910279 - TBird 17.0.8: Local Folders Randomly Disappear (caused by 'Manually Sort Folder v1.1' addon)

Everything was working fine until I installed the latest upgrade, though I hadn't used any local folders until a few days before the upgrade. On start-up all folders are present and work ok until, at some random time, the local folder tree disappears from the folder pane. Sometimes they go when I click on one of the folders in the local tree, most often they just sneak away when I'm not looking.

Restarting TBird brings them back again, no harm done.

Don't know what else I can give you to get to the bottom of this.

Having disabled all addons TBird appears to be running ok without randomly deleting folders from the folder pane. It's only been 30 minutes, or so, since I did that so not really enough time to be sure. Later today I'll start enabling addons one at a time to find the culprit. For now the list of addons I have is:

British English Dictionary 1.19.1
Manually Sort Folders 1.1 -- my money's on this one being the culprit
Mark All Read Button 0.5
Remove Duplicate Message (Alternate) 0.3.7
SoundPlus 1.2.2
Test Pilot for Thunderbird 1.3.9

I'm sure it's the 'Manually Sort Folder v1.1' addon. With only that addon enabled the problem can be recreated (on my PC, anyway). It will stay disabled if and until an update is released.

I will leave it to those who know what they're doing to move this bug report to the correct place and inform the authors of the addon.

Can you contact the author of the addon? You probably know best where you got it from. Also, while the addon is disabled and the local folders disappear, see in tools->error console if there are any new errors.
