On an unagi I get the same page (modulo the additional borders themselves of course), or maybe am I not looking at the right thing and I missed a detail? Have you observed this on Mac?

I haven't checked but this looks like the layer border for the canvas (red) is stretched along with the canvas because the layer has a transform and layer borders are affected by transforms (so they aren't always 2px (or 1px for tiles) as they should be). So the content of the page seems unchanged to me, although some of the layer borders are incorrectly thick because of transforms.
