As far as I know, currently the "nightly" RPMs are being built manually by
Blizzard, Unfortunatelly this means that when he has batter things to do, people
have to wait days for fresh "nightly" RPMs. For example, right now the latest
"nightly" RPMs available are dated 07/12, e.g. they are 5 days old.

I believe that the best solution would be if the "nightly" RPMs would be built
by mozilla.org automated scripts in the same fashion as the rest of the
"nightly" releases. See also bug #86068 for a discussion of RPM building issues.

There were no new RPMs for 12 days now. Can this be automated? Please?
It's been at least a month now since the last RPMs. There doesn't even appear to
be a 1.0 Release rpm. The last one I saw was an RC, I think.
Yeah, the latest RPMs in
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/Red_Hat_7x_RPMS/ are dated May
19th. 1.0 RPMs do exist (at their usual
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.0/Red_Hat_7x_RPMS/i386/),
but there are no 1.1a ones...

P.S. Brian, you are welcome to download my "unofficial" RPMs from
http://nogin.org/RPM/untested/moz/ByDate.html (browse) or
ftp://ftp.cs.cornell.edu/pub/nogin/unsorted_RPMs/mozilla/ (download directly).
They are not identical to the official ones (in addition to the normal stuff
they include spellchecker and favicons in personal toolbar), but close.

They are being built again.

While it's really great that Blizzard is able to build RPMs regularly, the
original RFE was for an automated process (that, among other things, would
provide people with RPMs even when Blizzard is on vacation or has more urgent
things to do) and still stands.

Actually the last RPMs are from Friday 13. >:->

So this would be very useful. What is missing?

Do you need any help to make this happen?

Right now the latest "nightly" RH7 RPMs are month and a half old and there are
no "nightly" RH8 RPMs. :-(

This is prehistoric. Better remove them completely. Even better: Update them.

IMHO this is not as much a build config issue (since the SPEC file needed to do
it, is in CVS already), as a matter of having to set up a cron job on a specific
machine(s) to actually do it...
Here we go again -- Mozilla 1.4 RC1 has been out for a while, but still there
are no RPMs.

If you want wide testing, please make it easier for users to install Mozilla. It
is a pain in the neck to install non-RPM Mozilla on a system which has it
integrated nicely as an RPM.
Here we go again -- Moz 1.4rc3 has been out for a week, no rpms.

Ok, we have 1.7rc3 and 1.8a and no RPMS at all.
