Build: Firefox for Android 26.0a2 (2013-08-29)
Device: Acer Iconia Tab
OS: Android 3.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox in private browsing
2. Open a website and save it as a pdf

Expected:
- A notification should appear showing that the download is completed.

Actual:
- Only the download progress notification appears in the Android notification bar.

Note: 
- I've installed Nightly 21.0a1 (2013-02-01) and the complete notification is displayed.
- Reproducible also with mp3 files

... related to the other download notification bugs open? Maybe not since you tested out a build from February though.

I don't think they are related. I've tried with the unaffected build from Bug 880661 and Bug 887655  and the download complete notification is not displayed.
