Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.2+) Gecko/20010708 I'll describe what we have in 4.x and missing in Mozilla. 1. Open 4.x 3-pane Messenger Window 2. Have enough messages so that in the header pane there are more than can be viewed so scrolling is needed 3. Adjust header/body pane separator so that the last visible header is visible only partially 4. Click on this header with the mouse 5. Observe how the pane scrolls a step up to make this header fully visible _and_ get the next one partially visible and immediately accessible This allows to walk quickly through your messages with only single mouse clicks doing nothing special to scroll the view. I would love to see the same behaviour in Mozilla. And to my understanding should not be so hard to fix too.
Summary: Very convenient feature missing → threadpane / outliner autoscroll when clicking on last visible row
This is a dup. of a bug, I think, sairuh filed.
sort of bug 76267, but not really quite the same.
Right, it is different. Both look like a huge advantage in usability though.
I've got a fix for this. Seth, reassigning to me if you don't mind.
