Go to http://somafm.com with the default browser of a Firefox OS device (tested with ZTE Open). 2. Select a station e.g. Groove Salad. 3. Or select directly http://somafm.com/groovesalad.pls Actual results: Nothing. You see the page but no music stream can be heard. Expected results: Groove Salad music playing in your device.

Yes , I found the same issue, apparently playlists itself are not supported by Music player. I dont even know how to get it to play a locally saved playlist. The last I heard next version would support playlists. Hope they support online playlists to enable music streaming.
