If you add the CSS "::-moz-selection { }" to a page, you can no longer see your selection on that page.  See a case here: http://jsfiddle.net/bgrins/ahjvn/.  

It should use the default selection colors in this case - it is confusing that adding an empty rule set causes a change on the page, and being unable to see selection is undesirable.
