Steps to reproduce:

I am using the latest version 23.0.1 of Firefox on Mac having Snow Leopard. I have chosen open 'show my windows and tabs from last time' in the preferences - start up options. however it never save the session to reopen it next time and it only show mozilla Firefox start page. What could be the problem? 


Actual results:

I have installed the Firefox 3 times afresh but the issue remains. I have changed to other settings like 'prompt a session to load' but that too does not work


Expected results:

It should open the the last session with all tabs intact as it does with the same version of Firefox in Windows 8 that I use simultaneously,

rocksolid, are you able to replicate this with Firefox 25? I am not seeing the issue, so am going to close the bug. 

You might also check this article on how to set up Firefox preferences to restore your tabs, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-previous-session#w_configuring-session-restore.  If the problem happens again, please re-open this bug and let us know! Thanks!
