try this:

search on messages in your inbox. (i'm doing imap).

leave the search window open.

go back to the inbox, delete a message that is in the search results.

go back to the search window, the message is there, but the headers are blank
(and it has 12/31/69 for the year.)

double clicking on it seems to work, it brings up the right message.

expected results:

not sure, since it depends on the search, right?

if the search was in the inbox, and the message is now in another folder, it
should not show up.

but what if the search was for the entire server?
ok, I am also seeing this, accepting.

We have an existing bug about this, will find it.
Bug 74429 was written from the File message angle...
If you delete one in search window and then come back and delete in 3 pane
it worksfine. My guess is that when you delete in the 3 pane first, the
Search view is not listening to it, so we get empty headers.

yes, that's exactly right. it must not be listening to that db, or handling the
notification correctly, by removing the header from the view.
