STR: 1. Set browser.tabs.closeButtons to "0" (only show close button on active tab) 2. [optional, but helpful] Set double-click speed to lowest/slowest setting in your OS 3. Open a few extra tabs 4. Double-click on an inactive tab where the close button will appear 5. Click on an inactive tab 6. Repeat step 4 on the same tab you used before Result: tab closes Expected: the double-click protection should have reset, the second click should have been ignored The cause of this bug looks to be that the first time the close button gets the property "_ignoredClick" set to true, and nothing resets it (eg, on tab blur).
