On h4writer's tracelogs, the red parsing bar is just 10-20% longer on all tests with GGC enabled. Since GC should be suppressed for most of parsing, and it's not a heavy GC workload in any case, something weird is going on here. We should be able to get a significant win throughout octane if we can track down the difference.
This was not apparent in the latest tracelogger update.
