In the image attached, I had tried to tag mail "Neopack 2.5 Inch HDD Case" with important tag, but I kept opened "Barack Obama favorited..." and the tag is showing on it.
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130814063812 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open any mail from a list of mail 2. Right click on another mail which is not opened. 3. Select tag (suppose important) 4. The tags notification will come to already opened tag which is not tagged. Actual results: The tags notification will come to already opened tag which is not tagged. Expected results: The tag notification should not come to the opened mail which is not tagged.

Currently this exist also for Thunderbird 24.1.0 x86_64 GNU/Linux.
