Details
Build: 07/17 branch builds. If the attachment file doesn't have extension and the filename contains some characters like space, '[' or ']', the filename will show as a string in utf8 url format. Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch mail. 2. Compose a mail with an attachment file which doesn't have extension, have the filename contain space, '[' or ']', like "test a[aa]b" 3. Send the mail to your testing account. After received, you'll see the filename is displayed as test%20a%5Baa%5Db

I'm pretty sure displaying unescaped spaces of the file name is a dup.

(In reply to comment #5) > is this a duplicate of bug 86717 ? I don't think so, I can still reproduce that bug. If the file in Composer has a name similar to the one suggested in comment 0, you do get the same results; but this bug's report talks about composing a message and attaching a file, presumably thru the normal means. (In reply to comment #4) > 2001082908/Linux works fine. Appears to be working just fine in Win2K and Win98 as well. =>WFM Reporter (ji), if you still are receiving bugmail, and you are still seeing this bug, feel free to reopen.
