If there is no ASan trace in the log, then it could for example be a timing- or GC-related issue. We've previously had an issue on xpcshell tests that reproduced consistently on ASan builds and just intermittent on normal builds with low frequency. The reason was that ASan builds scheduled GC differently. It could of course also be a thread scheduling issue. In both cases it would be a regular bug that just doesn't reproduce well on normal builds. I'll look into it more closely on Monday, maybe I can find something.
