I am using Win2k Prof. Traditional Chinese.
Someone send me an chinese ICQ message, I tried to copy the message and paste to
email composer. The words are not displayed correctly.
If I use a code converter to convert the clipboard from big5 to UCS2, then
paste, the words can be displayed correctly.
And can anyone reproduce in Win95/98/ME/NT Traditional Chinese version?
BTW, It might be a result of bug 9686 but I am not sure since 9686 looks too
technical for me.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive an ICQ message contains chinese, (or open a file containing big5
chracter?)
2. Copy some words
3. Paste to email composer
Actual Results: Words not displayed correctly.
Expected Results: Words be displayed correctly.

copy and paste involved two parties, the application you copy from and the
application you paste to . The problem can happen on either side (or both).
Can you copy from such ICQ application into a different application (such as
microsoft word? Notepad?) If so, then the problme is in Mozilla, otherwise, the
problem is in ICQ. What version of ICQ are you runnning? Traditioanl Chinese
version?

cannot reproduce the problem with ICQ on Japanese NT. Probably it is a Win2K or
Trad Chinese only problem. move to m0.9.9
