Now that bug 810526 has landed, the Gecko profiler has a native stack unwinder for ARM that's used on B2G and should be usable on Android. I enabled it only on B2G because I don't have a testing environment for Fennec set up, and didn't want to risk breaking other people's stuff, but it should be a simple matter of changing the relevant MOZ_WIDGET_GONK conditionals in tools/profiler/{TableTicker.cpp,platform-linux.cpp}.
Julian, once we have the above done we should be able to compare this unwinding against android by selecting 'stackwalk' vs 'breakpad'.
