Details

The rename of tp-socorro01-master01.phx1 to socorro1.db.phx1 somehow caused only the ganglia checks to alert with the message: CHECKGANGLIA UNKNOWN: Error while getting value "Host/value not found"
Assignee: server-ops → rbryce
I had to manually change the hostname of the rrd directory for ganglia on sp-admin01.phx1's ganglia instance. For future ease I created a CNAME for tp-socorro01-master02 so that I could update the ganglia configs now and everything run smoothly when tp-socorro01-master02 changes names. ;; ANSWER SECTION: socorro2.db.phx1.mozilla.com. 60 IN CNAME tp-socorro01-master02.phx1.mozilla.com.
