Details

(Whiteboard: DUPME)

I wrote an email that contained some characters out of the currently
selected charset. After pressing "SEND" mozilla opened "Sending message..."
progress indicator window and additional requester warning about inproper
characters found in the message body. I choose to cancel sending. Operation was
cancelled, but "Sending message..." progress window remained opened and I had to
close it manually.
It's wierd. I've encountered it.

Sometimes the encoding charset gets (for some unknown reason) set to Japanese,
and when I send the msg it warns me about it.

I think it's a duplicate of an already reported bugzilla bug.

It happens always for me (Win95/98), when there is a charset mismatch. I see it
frequently because in Greece there are many users writing messages in us-ascii
while others in IS)8859-7. Imagine what happens when one replies to the other
(and charset override isn't set) ...
OS=All. Definitely.
