In the forum it currently says "Chosen solution by cor-el" above a solving reply. That's apparently confusing, and people think that corel chose his own post as solving the issue. Let's remove the "by foo" part.
That is trivial.
Whiteboard: u=user c=questions p= s=2013.20 → u=user c=questions p=0 s=2013.20
It may be even better to say "Solution chosen by <username> (or <moderator & name>)the answer from <contributor name>. This makes it clear where a user has inadvertently marked something, or where a mod has chosen the answer. It still lets contributors see their name displayed as a credit for the solution.
John, I thought about that too, but it doesn't add any value for people reading the thread, and might be confusing itself.
