star icon should display overlay on bookmark creation

Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigate to a page that is currently not bookmarked.
2. Click the star icon to bookmark it.
Actual results:
The page is bookmarked, but no "edit bookmark" overlay shows up until you click the icon once again.
Expected results:
Once a page is bookmarked, the overlay should be launched immediately. (Chrome has been doing this since its launch.)
I am willing to attempt writing a patch and would appreciate to be pinpointed to source files which need to be amended, since I am only trying to get started with contributions.

This is intended since the first click on the star will save the page in Unsorted Bookmarks and the second click will activate the drop-down menu to edit the bookmark. As comment from this bug says: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=607559#c1
