FHR has a restricted set of reported search engine identifiers. New additions that we want to be individually reported have to be added to that list. This bug is to do that.
We already track "bing" and an array of "yahoo*" engines. Assuming the mobile names match desktop, this is a RESOLVED FIXED.
Thanks for the heads up. We'll wait for a full risk/reward along with a patch before tracking this.
Richard, why are you requesting tracking?

Because adding search engines is something product is pushing for, and we need to make sure we don't forget to do this in the same release or sooner.

Given this, bug 903084 makes me believe this is necessary for FF26 and not earlier.
Is this even needed? What changes are required?

Based on comment 1, I am resolving FIXED.

It's fixed by virtue of us using the same IDs in Bug 903082 and Bug 903084 as we planned for in our initial landing.

(Yay, foresight!)

Further work: if these engines are localized, the names must continue to match.
