if an app asks for systemXHR in the manifest (or sets the mozSystem property on an XMLHttpRequest - whichever way is appropriate to detect it) then the SystemXHR buchet should be preselected.

None of the packaged apps that I've spot checked have this buchet enabled now so a mop-up script will need to be run to add those buchets to the effected apps.
None of the "new" buchets are automatically detected because we haven't added any of them to the validator yet.

which 'new' buchets are missing?

updating summary, etc.
Severity: normal → major
Summary: SystemXHR permission isn't being feature detected in manifest → features added in bug 875415 (?) aren't being detected in manifest/app
Priority: -- → P1
Target Milestone: --- → 2013-09-24
This is not a P1, since the only platforms which support installing web apps all either do or do not support any of the new buchets (for the time being).
Priority: P1 → P2
true - while packaged apps for Android is turned off its not hitting any apps now. But the longer its not implemented the larger the backlog of apps without the correct buchets will be.
