Mozilla 0.9.2 2001071805, Mac OS X 10.0.4: 1) Load a page 2) Choose "Save As..." from the File menu 3) Navigate to and highlight an alias of a folder The Save button remains inactive and you are unable to save to the folder. Obviously, you should be able to save to either a folder or an alias of a folder.
Summary: Can't choose alias as location to save file → Can't choose alias of folder as location to save file

Um, WORKSFORME. At least under Mac OS X 10.1. Since we're not doing any filtering of the files on save I'm guessing this was a bug in Mac OS X 10.0. If I'm wrong and a repro case can be found in Mac OS X 10.1 please add it to the bug and re-open.
