Aren't sync creds stored in prefs, in which case this would have been fixed by bug 855147?

Settings and metadata are stored in prefs. The password and Sync Key are stored in password manager.
Ok then this is basically a dupe of bug 918003 regarding flushing profile data other than prefs.
