Details

I've had an ongoing problem for some time. Upgrading to Thunderbird 24 and Lightning 2.6 didn't fix it, so I thought I'd try reporting.

I have a number of reminders for past instances of recurring events which go off regularly. Clicking the dismiss buttons for the individual events, or 'dismiss all' has no visible effect. The event is not dismissed, the event count in the reminder window does not change. The button highlights while the mouse is down, but that's all. It's quite annoying.

This is a local calendar, otherwise it seems similar to bug 769118.
When I click 'dismiss all' an error is posted to the log console:

Timestamp: 13-09-18 4:22:19 PM
Error: '<error>' when calling method: [calICalendar::modifyItem]
Source File: resource://calendar/modules/calUtils.jsm -> file:///Users/giles/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/xrgiz6z8.default/extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/calendar-js/calAlarmService.js
Line: 229

I don't see an error when I click the per-event dismiss buttons.

I don't get any extra informat if I turn on calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose.
