It would be great to have the option to put fake apps on the homescreen. I tried to investigate bug 916060 but I failed because currently all options to put icons on the homescreen are broken for b2g-desktop (e.me, browser, marketplace).

Alexandre - I'm having issues trying to install newly generated applications on a phone using a script, and someone told me you might be the person to talk to (do you work on App Manager?). Can we arrange a time to discuss this if you are the correct person?
