Steps to reproduce:
Nothing.
Happens randomly. Far from often but I observed this more than once.
Haven't found any specific steps to reproduce
Actual results:
the whole interface became black and white. All colors were gone.
See first screenshot.
This was NOT when TB is greyed out because it stops responding. It was responding correctly.
Expected results:
Normally the UI is colourded. Second screenshot shows normal appearance.
Restarting TB fixed the issue.

does it happen with thunderibrd started in safe mode?
