RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 774521

People

(Reporter: joliclic, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130911155223

Steps to reproduce:

On desktop, getUserMedia relies on the Firefox Interface, a prompt is displayed to the user to select a device. This doesn't work for an installed web app, because it's impossible to select a device.

In Firefox, go to http://rtcamera.apps.5013.es . Try to use the webcam, by clicking on the camera icon. It works.

Now go to https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/rtcamera , it's the same web app, install it, then launch it. It doesn't work.
WebRT (on desktop) I presume. Marking dependency.
