Could you please provide a test case(link to a .sav file)? It could help us confirm this bug. Also did you try it in the latest nightly? Thanks!

The following URL has a number of links to .sav files which firefox attempts to render rather than download: http://www.sagepub.com/ssds6e/study/resources.htm HOWEVER I have not been able to reproduce the problem on other sites. Works here: http://wps.aw.com/aw_deveaux_stats_series/61/15644/4004949.cw/content/index.html and here: http://www.pewinternet.org/Shared-Content/Data-Sets/2013/January-2013--Mobile-Shopping-%28omnibus%29.aspx With apologies, I am marking the issue resolved-invalid. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 ID:20131002030201 CSet: e3c84e9f2490 I reopened the bug for the following reasons: - I tried in Chrome and IE10 and both offered to save the files. - I click the files in the web pages where the reporter said it works and, indeed, FF offers to save the files. This looks like a bug to me and am of the opinion that we need a reduced testcase. Also couldn't find a regression window. Builds that i can reproduce this bug in go as far back as 2009-01-01.

Hi, I haven't managed to reproduce this issue on Windows 10 and 7 on the latest Firefox release (44.0.2) and latest Nightly (47.0a1) with the links provided in the description. Considering this I will close this issue as Resolved-WORKSFORME untill someone can provide another link where this issue is reproducible or a simplified testcase. Thanks, Cipri.
