Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/29.0.1547.57 Safari/537.36 OPR/16.0.1196.73

Steps to reproduce:

None: Just look at the user-agent string.

Don't know if the wrong build of the Gecko engine was used when building v24.0, but if that's the case, 3 years worth of updates and bug fixes were lost!

Actual results:

This is the user-agent string in previous version 17.0.8:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20130801 Thunderbird/17.0.8

... and this is the new user-agent in v24.0:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/24.0

I actually notice more than 3 years worth of updates and bugfixes lost in the current release! For example: I can't see the bold font signaling unread messages in the left folder list, so I keep missing unread e-mails :(

Expected results:

A Gecko/201309xx maybe?

As with Firefox, the user agent no longer indicates the actual buildid, it merely has a date string for compatibility. You do have the latest version. If you have specific bugs you would like to report in the new version, please do that separately.
