User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/29.0.1547.66 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: On one of our web pages (jsf) where we show overlayed pdf, on click of a button that is supposed to show a pop-up, it is observed that the pop-up hides behind the pdf. On scrolling the page down, the overlayed pdf scrolls down along and the pop-up would be partially visible, but still behind the overlayed pdf. Expected results: The pop-up should show on top of the pdf (all the time, with or without scrolling).

Do you still see this with Firefox 26 or later? Please give an example website link.

Hi Tyler, Thanks for the reply. Yes, the issue still exists with Firefox 26. I'm sorry I can't share the links right away. Will have to get some approvals for that. But for now, I've attached a screenshot of the issue, where it can be seen that the DIV pop-up hides behind the Adobe Flash player that displays the PDF.

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160) and bug 1687239 has removed the relevant Layout code, so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
