Hi, I check the logs, and find logs like below, please help check. Thanks. 09-23 16:07:43.939 E/wpa_supplicant( 920): nl80211: Could not add multicast membership for scan events: -2 (No such file or directory) 09-23 16:07:43.939 E/wpa_supplicant( 920): Failed to initialize driver 'nl80211' 09-23 16:07:43.939 E/wpa_supplicant( 920): wlan0: Unsupported driver 'nl80211' 09-23 16:07:43.939 D/wpa_supplicant( 920): Failed to add interface wlan0 09-23 16:07:43.939 D/wpa_supplicant( 920): wlan0: Cancelling scan request 09-23 16:07:43.939 D/wpa_supplicant( 920): wlan0: Cancelling authentication timeout
When it happened, both WLAN0 and wpa_supplicant are not exist. Please help check. Thanks.
According to your logs, the driver seems to be broken. I can't reproduce the same behavior right now, but I found the wifi button is locked one time as the attached picture. Need to try more time to see what happened.

I can get a fairly consistent repro following some info from comment 0. In most cases I can get the Wi-Fi slider to be greyed out and not usable (like in Picture.png) until the Settings app is terminated and re-launched. However, when this happens the Wi-Fi will no longer find access points when it is enabled, nor will it connect to an access point it knows. In rare occasions I got the Wi-Fi slider to be greyed out until I rebooted the phone. In both cases, the Wi-Fi button in the Notifications menu would be greyed out and could not be selected until the phone was rebooted. Pre req: Update Leo to 1.1 mozRIL BuildID: 20131016041201 -OR- Buri to 1.2 mozRIL BuildID: 20131017004001 Repro steps: 1) Launch Settings app 2) Navigate to the Internet Sharing menu 3) Bring up the Notifications menu (swipe down from the top of the screen) 4) Enable Wi-Fi (if it is enabled already, disable it and then re-enable it) 5) Select the Settings app cog to return to the Settings app 6) Enable Internet Sharing 7) Navigate to the Wi-Fi menu 8) Disable and then re-enable the Wi-Fi Actual: Wi-Fi is enabled and the slider (and button in the Notification menu) is greyed out, making it impossible to disable the Wi-Fi. Also Wi-Fi will no longer search for APs or connect to ones that have been saved. Expected: Wi-Fi is enabled and the slider and button are usable. Wi-Fi will search for APs or connect to ones it has saved.
