Hello,

Personally i find the section "Other add-ons by" on AMO Listing pages quite boring, it always shows the same six add-ons and it's disappointing for those of us with dozens of extensions published.

I was wondering if it's possible to improve that section so that the list is randomly generated, for example like Featured add-ons are shown on the front-page.

Thoughts?

We're working on some recommendation improvements in the Marketplace, which would likely transfer to AMO with minimal work.  It's not something landing in the next few weeks, but that's the best update I can give you.

Thanks for filing this.  Due to resource constraints we are closing bugs which we won't realistically be able to fix.  If you have a patch that applies to this bug please reopen.

Sad, quite sad such a simple thing won't be implemented, since afaict all this involves is changing a DB query. I even installed Olympia to provide a patch myself, but to no avail... i wasn't able to make AMO operating correctly locally.

Well, i guess i'll have to randomly disable some of my thirty addons to make that happen...
