2013-09-26-11-20-34-mozilla-central-firefox-27.0a1.es-ES.linux-x86_64 1. Create a new profile (to avoid dataloss). 2. Create a random file (optionally in a random directory) in the profile, and give it a date/time clearly in the past (e.g. last months). 3. Reset Firefox (Help → Restart with add-ons disabled → Restart → Reset Firefox → Reset Firefox). 4. Find the backup of the profile in your desktop directory (under ~/Desktop of the Firefox user on GNU/Linux). Check the date of the file. Actual results: That file, and all other files and directories in the profile backup had their dates reset when the backup was made. Expected results: The dates should be preserved. Since the profile appears to be effectively moved to the backup directory, there seems to be no good reason to lose them?
