We've got a preinstalled version of the Mozilla Maintenance Service on our test slaves. Part of this installation is certificate information in the registry. We need to update it now that we've changed certs in bug 803531. Until this is done, bug 921321 will be an issue on all Nightly and Release builds.
I think it's going to be easier to update the entire maintenance service. The older slaves don't give us a way to update the registry easily en-masse.
Summary: update mozilla maintenance service registry keys for new authenticode key → update mozilla maintenance service for new authenticode key
Depends on: 921510
bug 921510 should get the ix test machines updated. Still not sure how the rev3 ones are going to get updated.
With bbondy's help I create a new updateservice.zip package (like we used in bug 704578) to install a newer version of the maintenance service on the xp and w7 rev3 machines. I'm going through and rebooting them now to make them all pick it up. The zip got deployed to /mnt/netapp/relengweb/runtime-binaries/updateservice.zip on relengwebadm, which is the new place to deploy it. Still need to verify that the GPO changes from bug 921510 are working.
With bug 921510 fixed all of the ix test machines are picking up the new registry entries. I've gone through and rebooted every r3 xp and w7 machine that I could, so almost all of them are updated now. Some were inaccessible, but they'll pick up the change at next boot. I'm calling this FIXED. Thanks to Brian for helping me figure out what we needed to do to fix this.
