Build ID: 20130814063812

Steps to reproduce:

Being the Hindi Locale Leader I have marked the option " Email me when articles are ready for review" .

Actual results:

After reviewing the article I am getting the the same email message which I am leaving for the article editor.

Expected results:

I shouldn't get the message if I am not the article editor.
this does not look security sensitve

In my opinion, it's best to keep a copy of what you sent to the editor. I get this as well so it's not a localization thing. I like it since I get to keep a copy of what I wrote just in case anything arises.

Yes Andrew sometimes it's helpful. But there should be one another option for it like "also email me the message which I will send to Editor" . I shouldn't get it if I select "email me when an article is ready for review" .
I wouldn't want that check box there for every review... not sure if its possible but to make a setting via user profile with a checkbox saying:
[] Email me reviews made by me or something similar
I know that this still occurs for sure.

Joni, your take on this?

Hi, I think since there's no other way for reviewers to see what they've sent to editors (or not that I'm aware of), I think it's better to have these messages sent by default. You can just delete these messages if you don't need them.

If anyone feels strongly about it, we can reconsider putting a checkbox, but I think the default should still be "on" unless the reviewer disables it. I like to receive copies of my review comments and I wouldn't want to have to put a check mark each time I want to enable it.

Reporter - what do you think?

Andrew, it was a nice to have functionality(If you're reviewing a lot of articles in a day), but if it's not possible at the moment then we can keep this default feature.

since this is a nice to have, and you can just filter the email out, setting to wont fix, plenty of other higher priority bugs to fix :-) without workarounds
