With Mark Attinasi's help, looks like they are creating a embed tag with no source which is causing the default plug-in to activate.

The HTML page is created the same way when viewed on both windows and mac builds. However, the windows build doesn't have a problem with the embed no source tag. No default plug-in is displayed on windows.

This is FIXED on the trunk 2001072508 on Mac. This bug does not have a PDT+ so it will not be fixed on the branch.

I did not fix this, it was fixed with bug 91140.

That's what I thought, but 91140 _is_ PDT+, so I would expect this one to work on both branch and the trunk.

My mistake, it was bug 90152 that fixed this because of it's mime-type checks.
