(In reply to Juan Perez-Bedmar [:juanpbf] - Good bye summer! from comment #0) > *could it be related to the RIL, Michael? That seems pretty likely, would you please open an SR so the right teams can take a look.

(In reply to Michael Vines [:m1] [:evilmachines] from comment #1) > would you please open an SR so the right teams can take a look. Unfortunately, China has started today a 1-week holiday due to China National Day and basically everything is closed, and everyone on holidays. I will try to find someone outside China with permissions to create the SR, since I don't have them. BR

Hi Michael,
As I guess vendor would not be able to open a SR till next week, could you please start taking a look on this before? It's been reported during certification in Spain, and it's a regresssion (not reproducible in 1.0.1).
Thanks!
David

Please have the vendor file an SR.

(In reply to Anshul from comment #5) > David, SR is the only way for us to get the relevant team involved. Please > have the vendor file an SR. Hi, the SR was created last week, once my colleagues came back to work. FYI, case number is 01320569 We will keep working on it through QC's system, and will give you all feedback about its resolution as soon as we get into any conclusion. BR

This video shows how the coverage icon remains right after reproducing this bug. Ivan, would you please mind help me to find someone in the UX team that could tell us in which scenario this icon is supposed to be seen? This could help us to understand the nature of the failure. Thanks in advance

HI UX team, Would you mind help to take a look the short video in the attachment and let our partner know in what user scenario this icon is supposed to be seen? It might help them to identify the issue.

I am flagging Jacqueline, who may know or be able to find out the scenario in which the icon is supposed to be seen. I am also flagging Carrie, who may also know and is working on the DSDS design for 1.3 right now: whatever we decide here may impact the spec.

Hi everyone, Sorry for the late reply. I've check this icon with the visual team and found it is called "searching for network". I'm not pretty sure in what scenario it should be adopted since this might be covered by the System's UX owner. We shall ni? the right person here. Hi Stephany, I think it might be Francis? Thanks!

Hi, the RIL team should comment on when this icon should be displayed. It seems to me that it should be displayed while the device is trying to attach to a network, but flagging Neo for verification.

I saw the video. That is weird about the signal and background color. The signal should be white without animation. And when I try to enter flight mode or search another operator, that still no animation on it. Is this a new feature ?

this is about dual subscription SIM. not dual SIM. therefore change the description to avoid confusion so since it's been 2 month, what's the latest status on this bug from SR? do we still need to discuss it further? thanks

(In reply to Joe Cheng [:jcheng] from comment #14) > so since it's been 2 month, what's the latest status on this bug from SR? Please shenyang, give us an update on the conclusions from Qualcomm? > do we still need to discuss it further? thanks I tested this issue some weeks ago on a koi version of Ikura, and it DID NOT reproduced, so probably this is something we don't need to worry about anymore. Anyway, let's wait for my colleague's feedback.
