Buchets get applied to featured apps which means that not all featured apps show up in the homepage.

Just to make it easy for the curator, we should show icons for the devices listed as supported by the developer across each listed app to give the curator a better sense of what might show up. I know buchets work differently tahn supported devices but this is a good start.

We can use the same icons we use for reviewer tools

As mentioned above, the icons in the Reviewer Tools do not indicate whether the app will show up on those platforms; buchets determine that. Because two devices may not necessarily have the same feature profiles, we can't do this with accuracy.

There have been proposals to make buchets the only determining factor in excluding content. If/when that becomes the case (possibly very soon), these icons won't do much good.

Buchner has a spec - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1loPe83eONgIwR3wNFnREKHs3Y8oX-Xo11VgXjCmYl7o/edit - and Basta has a bug - bug 922165 - that will take care of collecting all the feature-profile fingerprints so we can make claims like "this feature profile is most likely a Geeksphone Peak running Firefox OS 1.2" or "this feature profile is most likely a non-Firefox desktop user"). Can't wait!

Until we implement Buchner's spec, can we show the device icons as a stopgap measure? For a curator it is hard to guess how many apps show up for any given platform.
