Details

(Whiteboard: [dogfood])

Phone:
Alcatel One Touch

Firefox OS Version:
1.1.0.0-prerelease

Issue Details:
The two left columns of the keyboard are unusable--selecting a key on the keyboard will give me the key underneath what I am trying to press.

For example:

* Pressing 's' will bring up 'z' on the screen
* Pressing 'w' will bring up 's' on the screen
* Pressing 'q' or 'a' will switch keyboard to the ?123 screen

I can type normally on other parts of the keyboard but things break down as soon as I go to the left of the 'e' 'd' and 'x' column.

Associated App:
Keyboard
Now that I've been using the phone a bit more it is clear that this issue is with the left side of the screen on any of the apps.

* When I press 7 on the dialer I often get the * from the key below show up on screen

* On the music app, when I try to select an album cover for a song on the left, I get the one below it.

Maybe a hardware issue?
Summary: Left side of keyboard is unusable → Left side of screen is unusable
I picked up a new dogfooding device and I'm not seeing this problem with the left side of the screen. I'm assuming that means there was a hardware issue with the screen on the other device.
