STEPS:
MacOS 07-20-03-0.9.2 commercial
STEPS:
Download file to folder.
Move file after downloading.
Press "reveal location button".
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Either open the folder that it was saved to, give an error that the file is not
there, or follow the file to the destination (if it was on the same disk, it
would have the same fileID).
OBSERVED RESULTS:
We go to finder, but do not do anything.

REOPEN: Mozilla 1.8a4, Mac OS X.
Ian: did you test this before you WFM, or did you just set that resolution b/c I
took too long to get back?

Mainly because you did not respond, but I did test on the platforms I had
available Linux/UNIX/Windows

Did you get different results than what I reported? I can look at Windows again,
maybe this is now Mac-only?
Comment 11•21 years ago

As far as I can see it no longer happens on Windows, so perhaps it is now Mac
only as you say.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008033101 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre
AFAICT, after downloading a file then moving it, "Show File Location" is not greyed out but does nothing. No error popup, no message in Error Console (which is set to "All"). Since I moved the file with "mv" which I don't expect to be follow-able, I would have expected the download folder to open (in Sm or Kq) and/or a message that the file wasn't there.

No reaction to comment #12. Resetting A+QA after long bug inactivity: maybe someone is watching the defaults.
Scott: if you're still interested in fixing this, take it again, of course.

Trying to WFM it again, please only reopen if you're actually seeing it.
