Take a look at the 2 screens. The edges of the 1.1 icons are much smoother then in v.1.2.
The visual quality of the app icon seems to have decreases, they edges look overly aliased. This can be seen on the lighter (orange, green) icons more easily.

Some more info - the issue persists in both Homescreen icons (as seen in the attachment) and in e.me results. In addition - the same gaia code, on an older Gecko (18) works well and the icons are smoothed correctly. Updating to newer Gecko (25/26) causes this jaggedness.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens. As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
