Steps to reproduce:

i log in bugs.kde.org
then firefox asks for me if i want to record the password
then i answer yes
then i see the login data is well recorded in ff
then i go again to bugs.kde.org login
then the fields id and pwd are not filled !


Actual results:

the fields id and pwd are not filled 


Expected results:

the fields id and pwd are filled

WFM, login/pwd fields are autofilled with FF24.

Try with a clean profile, please:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

i tried with a new profile
then
same pb : id and pwd are recorded but the fields are not filled

for many sites there is no pb but for some sites i had this pb

more accurately ff 24 did use to work
but
suddenly ff24 consume 100 % of cpu
then
the sole solution is to rename .mozilla folder and to create a new one by launching ff then installing again all addons and restoring my bookmarks

then i go to bugs.kde.org to make a report then i discover that ff24 does not fill the fields.

i encountered same pb with a few other sites but i solved the pb by deleting the id then recording again the id and pwd.

i think bugs.kde.org changed policy about id and pwd recording. i remember there were a check box to record (i assume in a cookie) id and pwd . now this checkbox disappeared and by default id and pwd are recorded and disappear when disconnecting .

These sites both work for me in Fx28 if I save the password after logging in. Is this what you are doing or are you doing something different (e.g. saving after registration)?

Can you follow the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox:Password_Manager_Debugging to provide logging info?
