While testing for iteration #15, for bug 898795, when putting Metro in Snapped View on a Win 8.1 64-bit machine, I get the display showed here: https://bug898795.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=813748

Is this expected?
Yes, this is the expected behavior. After bug 891056 we treat any window screen where the height is greater the the width as portrait mode and stack the start page grids.
