Details
The table of contents in the redesign is intended to not scroll as the content area is scrolled, so that it's always available. That was part of the point of putting it into a sidebar. Long TOCs might need to be separately scrollable from the content, or something (perhaps they scroll until the end of the TOC is visible, then stop scrolling, instead). I'm not sure of the best way to handle that.

So we can make the TOC scrollable but I wonder about the impact of that on user experience -- I'll likely just need to see it to find out. I hope to experiment with this tomorrow or Friday. Thanks for the reminder Sheppy!
