Hi Hungarian Team,

There is a new request from marketing: localizing the scripts to into these two videos.

Please see the attachment for the script to be localized. I will get back to you once the videos are put together for a review before they go live.

You can also put the script in a google doc for file sharing and editing, if that's easier to collaborate.

Hi Gabor,

I am waiting for the information.  Is it possible to get this translated by Friday my time?  There isn't a lot of content, but be sure the spelling and grammar are correct.  Once we make it into video, it is more time consuming to make fixes then.

Here you go. Some comments:
- a few strings got a bit longer than the original, we can shorten them if this is a problem
- Is this link correct:
To get your dynamic phone simply go to firecom.com and get it
Because firecom.com sells "Communication Systems and Headsets for Firefighters and EMS" 
- next time please try to ask us if an ad is culturally okay. In Hungary, there is almost zero culture of eating sushi. If you look at the list of sushi restaurants in Budapest, for example here: http://www.netpincer.hu/budapest/hazhozszallitas/sushi/ - you can see that there are 13 places, among them only 5 offering exclusively sushi. So most people would not relate to this. Pizza would work better :).
- leaving two days as a deadline is rather gambling. Maybe next time marketing will be out of luck...

Hi Gabor,

Really appreciate your quick turnaround and I will do my best to push back on this!  Thank you for the questions raised here and I will check for content accuracy.

You gave me a great example on cultural relevancy such as eating Sushi in Budapest.  I will borrow this one for internal education on writing global ready English. Can we change to Pizza instead?  I realize this is subtitle of what the guy is saying, but we don't have to do word for word translation.  It is "localization" after all. Let's make it make sense for our target audience. I don't think so. In the video at about 1:30 he is actually typing "sushi" into the phone, which then totally goes sushi and a bit later he is eating a piece of sushi with chopsticks. So it's quite visually prominent.

Looks like the firecom.com is a much simpler problem to solve as it is in the script but not on the video.  

How foreign does "sushi" sound to the Hungarians?  Is it too exotic or does it appeal to younger generation more?  I am sure there other markets that this video doesn't go well either. How strongly do you feel that this needs to be changed?  I am not sure this can be done at the moment or can be done in time for the Hungary launch.

Sushi is not something from the Moon - we know that it's some kind of a Japanese food, it's just that it's not popular here. Overall the video is not gonna be a disaster, but won't be a huge success either I'm afraid.

Next time we need to have something better, that's all I wanted to say.

There is no more follow-up with the project.  Doesn't look like the video was ever made despite repeated requests for confirmation.  Marking it incomplete.
