Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.66 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

It's unbelievable there's no such feature and that one has to look for addons to do this.

There should be a simple "export everything" and "import everything" option to allow to export all accounts and folders into a single directory and then import it on another computer.

Actual results:

There is an "import everything" feature, which I thought I could use by manually copying my thunderbird profile folders to the new machine and then use that option to import it, but it doesn't allow you to select a location to import from. I guess it only allows to import from other known email applications. If I run that, it shows "import data from:" and nothing is listed below.

Expected results:

There should be an "export everything" tool which would export everything into a file or folder. Then, the "import everything" tool should let you browse for a file/folder to import from.

Just to be clear: sync is different from export & import. Please change title to remove the word "sync".
