User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:27.0) Gecko/27.0 Firefox/27.0 (Nightly/Aurora)
Build ID: 20131010030202
Steps to reproduce:
Set Firefox to remember loaded tabs.
Open some tabs, and leave a big web page as the last tab (any page that takes a few seconds to load).
Close Firefox and remove from the Android multitasking list.
Open Firefox. (Tab should be loading.) Press "tabs" button. Press "+" to open a new tab.
Actual results:
The awesome screen is shown for a fraction of a second, but then the previous loading tab is shown. After it finishes loading, the awesome screen is shown again.
Expected results:
The awesome screen should have been shown immediately.

Thanks for the bug report. I was able to reproduce. This seems very edge-casey and likely involving a race on startup with the new about:home code.
