Details
After finally getting 1.2 installed on the device, a mandatory OTA upgrade reverted the OS to 1.1.1.0-prerelease. Oddly, trying to push 1.2 to the phone manually reported success, but the update didn't take and the device remained 1.1.1.0

I had the same issue. Supposedly this is fixed as of the Oct 23 image.
