Build: 2001-07-20-03, Win2k-sp1
When first adding a newsgroup server, and pulling up the Subscribe window, it
tries to cram alot of informaion into one small status line... namely the
Downloading message, the count of newsgroups, plus the moving bar thingie and
the connected icon... this cuts of the newsgroup count at least over here
Maybe make it two lines instead of one, or remove the "online" icon or something?
Yeah, I think this window could use some predefined screen size dimension
loving or something to make the default readable.

Just checked the subscribe window with build 2002-06-17-12 and there is no
status line anymore :) Resolving this bug to INVALID.

Re-opening, I think we could still use a little more default size expansion.

The bug/misbehaviour is still there, so closing as INVALID is quite inappropriate.

I dont'see the behaviour described in comment #0.
I clicked right, then "Subscribe" on my ISP's Usenet news server. The popup appeared (after some time), with its collapsed tree of newsgroups, but the status line's contents remained unchanged ("There are no new messages on the server", probably from the latest polling of my subscribed POP and NNTP servers).
I think the above behaviour is acceptable. If anyone disagrees, or sees something else (e.g. on a different platform), please speak up.

No one spoke up. Resolving INCOMPLETE for the time being. Karsten? KaiRo? Someone? What is the status of this bug? Should it be WONTFIXed, REOPENED with Target=Future, something else?
